That is beautiful. How big are those squares? They look like they are 1 inch or maybe 1 1/2 inches. She should try an Irish Chain. My friends all made those before I was around and they are beautiful too.

I love it. Just goes to show, no one is ever to old to learn new things.

How is your Mom's quilt coming................Does she need any more "scraps" If she does PM me with an address and I will be glad to pop some in the mail for her.
Wouldn't that be fun, like sewsew2 said, coming to help quilt the "quilt". We would need a gym!

Oh--I'd like to know how she's doing with scraps too--I never sent any last time! If we send actual scraps will someone there cut them into the sizes she needs, or do you prefer the pieces already cut? OR is all the info in this post somewhere????? Sorry. I wanted to send some in honor of my grandmother, who helped me with ideas. :-)

Just goes to show you that you're never too old to do anything you want to do. Fantastic. What a great job she has done. I hope she keeps up the good work.
No matter how tough life is, it sure beats the alternative.

Look at the date this thread started March of 2008. Is she still quilting?
