    Thanks!! It's a cotton ruffle. I was thinking of something that looked really little girly for the edges.

    That is one comfy, inviting, colorful quilt!

    And, I KNOW she will like the satin binding ... most little ones are really responsive to texture.

    I can imagine your new sister wrapping herself in that cuddly, cozy quilt. It looks like a professionally made comforter. Simple pattern, yet everything goes together so nicely, like it was just meant to be for this lucky girl. How old is she? Enjoy your time with her & post a pic if you have time. TTUL......
