Default For my neighbors

I made this for Christmas for my neighbors across the street who are just fantastic! They are both very active in our local Historical Society, enjoy antiques and are wonderful salt of the earth people, I am so thankful to have them as neighbors and to count them as friends. I loved making this pattern, it was quick (3 weeks of casual sewing) and the end result is a wonderful quilt! I already made a very modern and bright quilt for their daughter 2 Years ago and it was well received by both her and her parents. This is the 3rd quilt I have done on my Innova, I am still learning, but so happy I bought it! Thanks for looking.

Pattern: Monterrey Medallions
Fabric : Kansas Troubles -Prairie Dreams
Background - Bella Solids Eggshell
Backing- Unbleached Legacy Muslin
Batting- Hobbs 80/20
Pantograph- Mandarin Lace
Size- 90x90 Queen Size

Beautiful! 3 weeks? It would take me that long to cut out. Seems like they have a great neighbor too! Sweet of you to make and give to them.

This is exactly what I thought. Susie says it very well. I love the colors also.
