beautiful quilt, have you tried washing the quilt with Orvus soap? works for me

Soak it in oxiclean, but make it two times if not three times stronger than the recommendation. You may have to soak it for several hours. I have been able to get rid of stains in fabric that had been washed and dried doing this.
