Wesley had a homework assignment to make a stuffed character from the novel he is reading. (Lord of the Rings). He came over today and we made Gandalf. I taught him to use the sewing machine for some straight seams, and he learned to stuff a doll. We had a lot of fun creating him! In the 3rd picture you can see Wesley's scar on the back of his hand. My brother, sis-in-law and 2 nephews were in a serious roll-over accident on Labor Day, and miraculously escaped with minor injuries. They were definitely protected.

Gandalf...I love how Wes drew his face

How fun to teach your nephew to sew! Cute doll! Clever idea and turned out darling. Sew thankful your family came out of the accident with few injuries. He looks like a fun kid! Enjoy as they grow up sew quickly.
