Got my Janome 9500 home yesterday. Did a free design from the Janome website. I can't wait to quilt with it!!

I have been reading all kinds of posts here and a lot of people don't like re-hooping, but that kind of stuff doesn't bother me so i am ready to go as soon as I get the right designs and my layers put together.

And I can use this in my bags/ purses and hats too! :) And I saw some posts on toilet paper rolls that really looks fun!

I have had a Singer Futura before, didn't like it though. Any tips and tricks will be greatly appreciated.

How exciting to get a new machine! I love the butterflies...they look great! :)

I'm afraid I don't have any advice or tips for you - I don't have an embroidery machine.

I think you will really like it. Keep showing us your practice pieces as well as what you make.

I do a lot of rehooping. It's not my favorite past time, for sure. But, it gets the job done and looks so perfect!

I am green with envy. :hunf: I hope you get hours and hours of joy out of your new machine. The work you have already done is beautiful.
