My new grand daughter & nursery
#66
She is beautiful. The nursery is adorable and love the colors. She is a blessed little girl to begin life in such a lovely room and with a beautiful family to love her. Just think...in just a few years you can begin teaching her to quilt. What wonderful memories that will make for you and she. Congratulations.

I was so pleased when my daughter asked me to do the nursery. She isn't into quilting at all. She picked the fabric and told me what she wanted done with it. So I made crib bumpers, crib skirting, curtains and a blanket. I did make matching burb pads but don't have a picture of it.
My husband made the frame for the mirror and my daughter covered it with the fabric.

She is beautiful!! My daughter was the exact same length and weight when she was born in 1972, and her name is Kara. My daughter is a red head by the way, and it looks like your little darling might be fair complectioned as well. Room looks great Grandma and Grandpa, but the important one is sleeping. Enjoy this lovely bundle of joy.
