My 'New Knee' Project
#71
i have had both knees replaced. I had some problems. But I would do again in a heart beat. I went home first time and to therapy once a day. At home I pushed myself with rocking in a rocker. Working the replaced knee just enough to bend the knee a little bit more than the last time. The last knee was done 2 years ago, I went to a rehab centre for therapy 3 times a day and stayed 2 weeks. My recovery was faster and I have more mobility with that knee. I would recommend a rehab as my results where greater. You have to move the knee and it is painful. You only get as much as you push.

How lovely to read all the wonderful comments, they are all well deserved!! I can tell you being Hilary's close friend, that she has been a right trooper during through a very trying few months, yet always managed to keep upbeat..well done you!!!
I have seen this project up close and personal, it's gorgeous and it is going to be one show stopper of a quilt!!!! x
