    I was sitting on the sun porch yesterday thinking to myself this would make an awesome quilting room :-) but I don't think my DH would let me take it over :-/. Maybe this summer we'll pop out my sewing room (now 9 x 11) - not quite big enough to set my frame up full length and have room for everything else. Enjoy you new baby, I'm sure you have a lot of bonding time.

    Enjoy.... i am dreaming of an upgrade..... i have the pinnacle frame (grace).... with a 10"throat space janome 1600... works very well... but still have the bug about going to an 18".... we shall see... have fun...

    Can you use the Grandquilter for regular sewing, for example piecing?

    No -- it has to stay on the frame. It's considered a longarm

    I was allowed to babysit the last longarm. I just have one working...that's enough for me. The owner wants to sell the Pfaff but I wanted new.
