    My new machine! Whoohoo!!!

I had to purchase a new machine after my beloved Brother met its demise. So, I thought long and hard and considered it a great opportunity to upgrade. Until now, I have always gotten used machines at yard sales and such. 3 years ago, I was given a brand new Brother XL for Christmas - expensive to me at $135. I loved it.

So, I did a lot of homework on which machine I would purchase next. So many opinions on machines! But nothing conclusive. After searching, I was torn between another Brother and a Janome model. i went out of my way to the nearest sewing center that sold both of them - in Amish country no less.

Brother won again. Here is my brand spanking new Brother Project Runway/Innov-is 80. May she (or he - it is a Brother) live long and sew straight!

It is hard to chose another machine when you are used to the way one works. I am very happy for you! COngRatS and enjoy it.
