Hi everyone, I purchased this treadle on Craig's List yesterday. Actually there are three of them, but I have to wait until tonight to pick the other two up. This is probably the worst of the bunch, but I only paid $$65 for all three and I guess you get what you paid for LOL. This is a Singer 15, Serial #AE619182. It is electrified and I am not sure if it is original to the treadle. I have a lot of work to do on this one.

It looks like your machine was made between 1935 and 1938. Same age as my mother's. She bought the treadle machine without the motor in 1936, and added the motor the next year. Motors were optional. It looks like you've been through this before, but lostn51 has tutorials for cleaning on the Vintage Machine Shop portion of the board.

Congratulations on such a great buy.

You have a 15-91 that is in a treadle base and cabinet. I like the fact that it has the logo on the potted motor.
