Just had to show this little Cutie off!!! I am not one for buying older machines, I just have no room! But this Beauty came to me FREE!!! With the Cabinet, too. It is a Morse 600, with instruction book dated 1956 and a price tag at that time for $199.95. It weighs about 45 lbs. I did have it checked out, the belt was dry rotted and the power cord had a slit in it. But works beautifully! I really fell in love with the little oil can, it is soooo cute!

Took it for a spin today, made 2 of the pictured Dresdans on the Morse and the other 2 on my Sapphire.

Love this turquoise color! It is in great condition! The cabinet still has the tag on it from Montgomery Wards.

Anyone know anything about this machine?

Cute machine. What are you asking about? You have the manual? I have a Pink Morse, they're great machines.

I never heard of Morse before, and how often do I need to oil? The manual is only 7 pages, very vague.

Morse is a well known manufacturer and they're known for well made machines. You should oil as much as any other vintage machine. I typically oil them after every 10-12 hrs. of use. Sometimes I forget and go longer. Basically, if in doubt and you can't remember when you last oiled, it's probably time.
