Hi! I have a Morse 600 just like yours, I call it "The Baby". Sure doesn't sew like one..what a powerhouse! I also have a Morse 4500. I'd put either of them up against the plastic new ones any day. You're right on the year. The Morse was originally guaranteed for life. All metal parts. Back in the '50's they used to take them to the trade shows and have them sew through a wooden ruler.....Hmmm!
