My absolutely wonderful husband made my life long dream come true by making me my own "SeWHut". It's a 12 x 20 metal building he "fixed up" inside. It even has a small porch on the front. I moved in today (1/2/10)

All the storage I could ask for

That is just the nicest place I can think of!!!
I showed it to hubby immediately, (interrupted Perry Mason in fact!)
    Your hubby is so sweet!
So, I am showing him the sign that hubby made you with the hut's name, with a pair or antlers (then, as I was admiring it all again, I noticed that those were YOUR antlers! Good job!)
Anyway, I think your husband is the MOST, greatest, fantasticist fella a gal could ever hope for.
It is quite clear that he enjoyed what he was doing
and, I didn't miss the television in the corner, either ... I told hubby "What's wrong with us quilters that we think we have to have a television on while we work?"
Then, I realized that between radio talk shows and my Fox News, I was actually just keeping an eye on the world ... LOL We are helping keep spinning LEVEL! ;-)

Looks super! Now you just need a "design wall" space under your cute sign!

    Aren't clever husbands the best?!?

    Nice...
I've asked my dh for my own quilters cave....except I want the windows to be in the roof..that way, I can put shelves to the ceiling all the way around and not block the light source :D

I noticed your plug in heater, and know that it is a small one ... but thought you might consider one of these. We have two in the bunkhouse, running on 110 - - keep more even heat than the wall heaters we started with, AND! Not hot to the touch!
It takes up very little space, but my it is a good heater (remembering the times I have backed into one like yours with bare legs and feeling either hot or cold, but NEVER really warm) of course, I don't remember where you are located, so you may not need such a heater, but I wanted you to know about it ... the cat loves sleeping on ours, when I don't have the paper file or quilt box there!

That is so awesome and your hubby is wonderful! Will you ever go into your house anymore? It looks so well-organized. I love the flooring and the Sew Hut sign. And your cozy little corner looks so, well, cozy. Your hubby is super! He definitely deserves two thumbs up!
