This must be the season for new quilt rooms, I too am getting a new room which is currently under construction. It is going to be quite large and we had to put an addition onto the house. I'm not sure if it will be done by Christmas, but I'm sure it will be done soon after the new year. We need to install the ceiling, flooring and painting yet. I can't wait to move all my stuff and stash into one central location and get somewhat organized. I don't want to any photos until its finished.
Kathi, I may just copy your idea for the curtains.

Hi Kathi,
I remember passing thru Duncannon on my way to Milton to see my grandparents back in the late 50's and 60's. We would always stop at Gerties Face for a picnic lunch.
You and your husband should be very proud of your efforts. Just imagine all the beautiful things that will be coming out of that space. Congratulations.

I haven't posted for awhile because my wonderful DH has been working on my new sewing/quilting room and I was helping. Yesterday they installed the carpeting and today, I worked on the organization of all my quilting items. We still have some baseboard trim to install and my Wonderful DH is making me a table which will be where the temporary one is now and I he's going to hang my shelf later this week where my design wall will be. I'm so excited and I'll be in this beautiful room for the next 3 weeks getting Christmas gifts done. The fabric onthe cutting table is for the curtains. Thanks for looking!!
