    :D I am so excited!! I finally
finished my new sewing room! It's small but
    works great!
My sister came up for a visit and we worked for
3 days getting it cleaned out and then my son
in law scraped off the popcorn ceiling, retextured it and painted the enitre room. He tore out the old carpeting and then I bought and installed the laminate flooring, put in white shelves and reorganized the fabrics. I love, love, love it!!!! Here are photos while it's still clean.

    One more... OK.. 2 more.
There's my SS gift on the table next to the bucket of trims... just waiting and taunting me

LOL... No, it took us 3 days just to clean it out and purge all the junk! I wish I had taken a 'before' picture! But I think I'd be too embarrassed to post it here anyway.
It took us about 3 weeks start to finish. I'm sooo glad it's done. I have lots of Christmas projects to get to.

You have a great sewing area! I love your long table, your organized fabrics on the shelves and the big tubs. Oh, to be so organized.

    I'm excited about that also!

I designed a little cinch sacque to
hold a tea set and it opens up to become
a table setting with quilted placemats
    and napkins to match.

For my grandson it will hold matchbox cars
and will open to become a series of roads
    and houses.

I'll try to photograph the "Tea Party Set" as
    one is finished.

This is a beautiful space. I love your thread jars particularly. Have you thought about bracing your shelves somehow - clamping them to the walls. I know it's just the angle of your pictures, but I'd hate to see them tip over.

My son-in-law said he would brace the shelves after Thanksgiving holidays... they are camping in the redwoods for a few days.
The thread jars are from Costco.. They came filled with biscotti which was very easy to dispose of
