I purchased this at an auction today!

If I looked up the serial number correctly, it is from Sept. 18, 1906.
And it is a Class/Model 27.

In case, someone else would like to look it up here is the serial number H659225.

I have never seen a machine with the "shuttle" I believe it is called so any added information any one can give me on this would be great!
The cords are bad on it, so will have to be replaced it is in a case, and knee operated, I believe.

I did try stitches just using the wheel and it does make a pretty stitch.

You are wise to get the electrical parts checked and replaced. Old machines with bad wiring can give you an awful shock or even burn you badly. My dealer charged me $70 to clean, service and replace all of the cords and wires on my Singer 201. They looked ok in most places but if you looked closer there were tiny little cracks right down the length of the cord and the wires had lost their rubber coating near the plug in. Definately not safe. Your machine will be wonderful once it is re-wired.

I believe the shuttle is used instead of a bobbin... looks like a miniature rocket...

Thank you Baysidegal! Does anyone happen to know where I can order parts for her? I need the belt and probably cords for her.
I waited 4 hrs at the auction for them to get to her and I paid a whole $5 for her.. I am kind of excited!!!
Thanks
