I don't know what you mean by "filmsy" or "ticklish fabric". It looks different than regular quilting cotton. I don't know if it is a different fabric or the colors but it is pretty and has a lovely luminosity about it. Beautiful!

Great quilt, love it. I'm working on the same pattern but I'm using Moda "Honey, Honey" fabric. Jellyroll only came with 40 strips so now I have to order yardage to get the number of blocks I need. Thanks for posting your picture, I can't wait to finish mine now.
