I read somewhere that the center square of a log cabin block represents the home or hearth (that's why they are traditionally done in red or some other warm shade) - so if the center square represents home, and as they say, 'home is where the heart is', then your heart is with these lovable puppies! Enjoy the process and the finished quilt, and let us see it when you're done!
