Melody...it doesn't sound strange........I've left the points on several of mine...filled in the "background" between the "points" with the frist border color. Makes it pop.
Thanks for the thoughts ... yes I like the look of the points too. And perhaps another time. If I'd positioned the hexes correctly so the points were on the ends, then I might have kept them this time.

I want to keep the softness, and if I'm going to put some plains with it, to make it worthwhile, it'd need to be a stronger colour ... and the softness would disappear. Absolutely! I almost hate cutting off the points, though this time, it will be so.

looks shabby chic and I love that but I would never have thought of OBW with the pastels. I do LOVE it!!!!

Yes, soft pastels with a comfy romantic feel...cozy cottage but also upscale cool...
