Alaskasunshine don't be so hard on yourself!!! All that work and you are disappointed with the result!! Why not do a few cubes using the bright blue/yellow and red with some black?? I think it would add the wow factor you are looking for!! Just my take on things. It would be such a shame if this remains a UFO!!

Its not hard AT ALL. I don't do hard stuff. I sew for the enjoyment and I don't want to be frustrated so I only do easy stuff. I had put this off because I thought it was set in seams and it just looked hard. Even the cutting part when it was broken down was so easy. I took a class as I just didn't get the instructions from the tut on this board and was afraid of the cutting part...but it turns out to be so simple and it is very addictive.

Very nice! I love the fabric before so it had to make good hexagons.

You should finish it. With a great border everything will work out.(Maybe if you separated the hex's with a dark color, it would pop.) It does look great though the way it is.
