    Default My Official First FMQ on longarm

    Lots of firsts! Never took a class before! It was so much fun! After creating the face, it must then be matchstick quilted, After that, black thread is used to outline main features. I wasn't sure that I wanted black thread as my first attempt, but I just dug in and went for it. I got better at outlining by the end. I need a wooden dowel to hang her up without safety pins! Next time I'll use steam-a-seam like some others used. Miracle product!

    your quilting is excellent! good job getting all the quilting and outlining done on this one. Looking forward to seeing what you do next with your new machine.
