Have fun and show us your blocks!!

My block is 24 x 24 from a sheet of plywood, sanded and primered. Base coat and then my husband painted on the blue in the block. I covered a piece of wood for the center and glued. The stencils were from Michael's but hand painted on. The blue border is 2 and 3/4 inches wide.
We blew up the block from a local place like Kinkos and he took the wood with him so they would have the size right. I will spray this week to seal.
No copyright worries here as this is my idea and I am sharing.
Have fun and send photos as any design will work.

I've been thinking of doing something similar to hang on our garage over the door...like a mini barn quilt. I haven't discussed with DH yet, but the idea's been percolating with me. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for inspiring me. I have no barn and have been trying to figure out how to do this also. May I use your idea for hanging? I will post when I get it ready, (if you say yes) Is it hung with regular cup hooks, or did you find 'beefier' ones? I am not in Ohio, so I will have to look for the block that 'speaks' to me.
