well organized... now you can just look and pick.... if it's not organize, it's hard to see what you have...

I'm new to quilting but I notice so many of you stock up on fabric. Often I see something I like but am unsure how much to buy. What are your suggestions?

If I love the fabric and have no immedite plans to use it I may buy a yard but I will buy enough if I have a goal. I just pick up FQs no rhyme or reason. and love remnants if they are cheap.
In the stash I also have cut up squares of my daughters pjs and jeans. for the future. good luck

What great organization! I think the key to the "big O" as you called it, is to have the SPACE to organize IN. What great space she has for all those big pieces of fabric. I'm still in WalMart plastic drawer units and tubs.
