beautiful. I love oriental quilts. My daughter was stationed in Japan for 3 years and never sent me one piece of fabric. ugh

Nosy is nice! I raw edge appliqued the fabric pieces, free motioned thread painted the small flowers,

I will load some other photos later, check back.
Here is another quilt, hangs in my bedroom.

This was done from Kumiko Sudo, Fabled Flowers book. I fused the pieces and then blanket stitched by machine. I did this over 10 years ago, and now the fabric has begun to fray. That is why I don't like fusible, it really doesn't hold.

I embelished with Sashiko and beads.
