Yes, it sure did. I figured it was a much better use of my time than pacing the floor and crying over the fact that a child had grown up. I needed something to focus on that re-affirmed who I am.

How wonderfully creative and personal!!!! This quilt examples the true definition of heirloom quilt. Simply a fantastic memory quilt, I'm very impressed!

Empty nest for me was a long progress, I'm glad you found a practical and stunning solution to those days. It does get easier especially if grandchildren join the family one day!

Congratulations on finishing your personal memory quilt. I like both the front and back. It looks like you did a lot of paper or founcation piecing. Nice work!

The idea, planning, and execution of this quilt are just fantastic!! It is truly one of the best I have ever seen - and the comfort that you must get from just looking at this, much less using it is, I am sure, indescribable......WAY TO GO!!!!!
