Love your quilt. That's a lot of embroidery. I don't have that much time to embroider so my quilts tend to be more piecing with a little bit of embroidery, so I'm always looking at quilts seeing how I can add just a touch of embroidery.

I used Hatched in Africa designs to match the Asian fabric that I had.

This is a French Braid quilt with more Hatched in Africa designs.

the quilt pictured with my name is all embroidered. I did it for my youngest daughter, one of twins. The pattern is called Butterfly Corners. My pictogram quilt has a lot of work that looks like embroidery but you make the flowers, etc, by combing the pictogram stitches on your machine.

I also do machine embroidery and use the designs in quilt blocks....was having issues about how to quilt without detracting from the designs......saw a snowmen quilt on this blog, where quilting was done with straight lines radiating out in a sunburst like pattern from the design (4 lines outward for each quarter of the sqare) and it was really neat......before this, I had just done close stippling around the design....
