    I now have 18 treetrunks.
I think it may be a form of procrastination, but I'll take picures as I go and post. It makes me feel that I'm in a room with other stitchers....
Next to come are the Treetops....
Do you want to watch my progress today??

I know exactly what you mean--taking and sharing the pictures makes it's less lonely. I'd love to watch!

That's a neat photo by the way... tells a story.

    next step......
    treetops...
I can see that I'll have some trees that won't have pointy tops when finished, but they will be pretty close..!
As much as I'm procrastinating, I'm getting them done bit by bit!

Thank you for sharing my afternoon

After a slow start this morning, I zipped up my 9-patch blocks. I'm rather pleased that the corners meet.
Now that I've resolved the pressing of the seams (not open as in dressmaking - so very hard not to do after all the instruction from sewing teachers at school so may years ago!) - time to move to the next step.....arranging the patches and the trees in a pleasing manner...that may take some time.
Then the border.... and my project will be finished for this holiday.

This is from an Aussie quilting magazine - and I bookmarked it as a holiday project.
I go back to work next Monday.

Latest picture - patches spread out on my bed.

I've got to pin these together in the order they are and sit and put them together...this is the long and tedious bit now...
    but....it's so nearly done!!!!!
