Default My Pocket Prayer Quilts

I saw these little prayer quilts here on QB and instantly fell in love with them. I have made about 40 of them to send to family and friends. I did mine a little bit different than the ones from ShabbyFabrics.com. I added batting to the pieced top with a very fine stabilizer on the back. Then I added a bit of quilting, after all quilts are suppose to have quilting. I tried some FMQ but found that was much to hard to work with on a piece that small, so for most of them it is just straight line quilting. I enjoyed working on them and I hope those I send them to will enjoy them also.

Very adorable prayer pockets. I made one and put it in my friends birthday card and she really loved it. They are so easy to make and fun to give away to someone special

Yours came out so cute. I will have to try FMQ on the next ones! I used embroidery floss and did a small tie in the center. I made two batches of 10 the first time and then ordered another 2 sets. So great to give to those isolating during the pandemic as a pick me up, as well as get well cards and sympathy cards.

These are so cute. I have the pattern stored away. Nothing to making them. You have done a great job. An inspiration.
