Looks good to me as long as the tape holds the flannel in place.

That is a great idea. It is like using one of those science projects boards that students use to put up their display.

For when someone needs as little space as possible for a design area, wouldn't it be great if some flannel (light weight) could be glued to a cheap window shade, but installed wherever it needed to be on a wall, and then when not in use could be rolled up? The problem is, I don't know if it would roll up or not.

Wow....very inventive idea....I have THREE of those stashed behind my China Hutch...left over from science projects and funerals!! (Used them for picture boards). Couldn't just throw them away after disassembling them....now I know what to do with them!
