I made this for fall decorating. I used fleece for the backing without batting. I have done a few lap quilts with just fleece and love them. They are so soft and easy to quilt. The pattern came from the book Sunflower Patch by Teri Christopherson, Black Mountain Quilts. This was a fun quilt and I quilted around the sashing, brown sides and pumpkin faces. Also put X's in the sashing squares.
    Thanks for looking

I like your idea for a flannel backing without batting. Your pumpkins are so cute and look great on the couch.

    Love those pumpkins!

I just finished a fleece backed, no batting small one also. I had to add binding as the fleece wasn't a good match with the front.

I love this. Gives me an idea for a winter one. Maybe snowmen? Yours is adorable.
