If you don't like doing the binding, maybe your quilter also offers that service?

    I LOVE that quilt!

I'm not real ga-ga about binding either, especially since I do part of it by hand....
but this is a real easy binding....
cut strips about 2.5 wide, fold in half and iron as you go...
sew to the right side of the quilt, bring to back and pin and hand stitch on the back...
if you absotively hate hand sewing, just pin and machine stitch...

does not have to be on the bias and the double layer makes it last a little longer :)

Thanks, everyone. That quilt is going to be the guinea pig. I'm going to machine stitch the binding on it.

But, I still need help from my mom on how to do that. She has graciously offered to sew on the bindings for me. She does a good job. I don't. She showed me how to blind stitch them on by hand.

I don't know if I'm just clumsy of if patience is an issue, but I'm always MISERABLE with the way it looks when I blind stitch something. I just don't do a good job.
