I got the free pattern on the internet years ago. You have your backing,whole batting and 2 1/2 in strips. Fold in quarters, center the diamond and just add strips around. It was quit easy only to late I learned to pin down the strips after I ironed. They tend to shift alittle. But not enough to rip out. All on all I am happy with it. If any one wants the pattern pm me. I dont think it will be a problem since it was free. I went to the website and its not on there any more

I also used my new clover clips. Someone here found them on amazon real cheap. I love them.No more pokes from pins.
