As I said on Greenfairy's post, this is beautiful, and the quilting complements the piecing wonderfully! Congratulations! You probably told us earlier....what will you do with the finished quilt?

I am looking to enter in some shows, it's been 20 years since I entered a quilt and I want to again. It was made for my middle daughter but, she has offered to let me keep this one and to make her another one. :)

To answer the question about the batting, Judi used Hobbs 80/20 and it's no higher loft than Warm and Natural.

You made a beautiful quilt , and the quilting looks great too. How long did it take to have it quilted? I sent my quilt out to a quilter and am still waiting to hear when she is going to get to it --- after almost 5 weeks.

WOW WOW WOW! I gasped at it when I saw it. It's a beautiful quilt. I love the colors it just pops.

I looked back at the emails with her trying to get the timeline and I can't find them! I believe that it was at least a month, probably more, and mine was pushed up by one quilt when she couldn't get a response to a question from the person for the quilt she was about to do before mine.

I'd contact the quilter and ask what the schedule is like and for an update on yours. I'm thinking of having Green Fairy do another one, a simple design, and will email to ask what the timeline is right now.

I know this is way after the fact but the quilt is just too gorgeous! Great work on both of your ends.
