How wonderful that you have this from your gram. I learned to hand quilt with such a lady as this way back in the late '70s. Loved those quilters.

I have a quilter picture also. My sister found it in Arizona and sent it to me in Tennessee. It is a lady from the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Have you named her?

It is signed. I just sent my picture to the artist and asked if this was his.. Hard to read the sigature. Your's is very well written.

Notice her little hunched back. OK ladies, I know I want to hunch after a long day on the sewing machine or pieceing by hand. Hah!

Maybe it's just this the Dowagers Hump. ha ha.. I love these pictures !!
Forward Head Posture and Dowagers Hump. As we age our spines gradually collapse causing us to hunch forward and stick our heads out.

No her name is on the inside. I had to take the pic apart and clean because of mold but I didn't write down the name when I resealed the print.... I know you love yours as I love mine.
