I love your schoolhouse! Your quilts are beautiful,too! My son and DIL purchased a farmhouse-built in 1890-and they are slowly bringing it back to its original beauty. Be safe through this blizzard, and praying your cattle babies are well!

So you quilt in the quilting cabin? Sounds like you have your challenges. But it is beautifully painted and a charming little gem on the landscape of your land. The quilts you have out on the line are very beautiful. Is your dog guarding your quilts for you? On the day you took these photos, SD looks like a little slice of paradise.

I got in this challenge one day. As you can see by the picture. the deal was you had to use some of the frilly trim, some of the apple blossom fabric, some of the buttons and it had to have a blue back ground and be a small size. So I was reading about all the different kinds of foods and spices in the Bible and it hit me what I should make for my challenge. Because earlier that morning I had went to town for parts and after using the rest room, I later figured out that I had pretty much humiliated myself upon leaving the building. So like usual I reach for the Bible to comfort me when I feel an over whelming amount of stress coming over me. As I was looking for comfort the food topic came to mind and pretty soon I was studying foods spices and had forgotten my humiliation. I always want to bear good fruit for my God after all he has provided me with all kinds of fruit and after my mishap at the parts store he gave me relief from embarrassment so "tada" my challenge was created. plus I has seem something similar in an email I had gotten months earlier... I hope this helps you to bare good fruit in your days ahead!

Your quilting cabin is a breath of fresh air. I love your paint job. And, the churn dash is my favorite block. You have a beautiful view and your backyard is lovely. Thank you for the visit into your part of the country. My back yard is weed infested and needs a lot of work. Non of which is in the budget right now. I think I need to start thinking outside the box.

Oh wow, lots of changes came your way since you posted your little quilting cabin. Your school house is darling. Is that your main residence or do you just use it for quilting?
I can't imagine still taking care of cattle at almost retirement age. But, I'm certain, it's a way of life you come to build experience and love in. I do hope your new calves will all be okay. Mother Nature needs to take it's cue that Spring is here! For everything there is a season.

Love your new cabin and really love the quilts hanging on the line. Your yard looks so inviting to just sit and have a glass of ice tea and enjoy the day!! Your challenge quilt is so cute and well done.
