    Default My Quilting Things

I have been sitting back and enjoying all the pics, tips and topics on the QB so now it is time for me to start being more active and show some of my own quilting projects. I have been quilting for over 21 yrs but in the past 6 years, because of the illness and the subsequent passing of my husband of 43 years, my quilting had to be set aside to be a caregiver to him. Now I find it has not been easy to get back into it but I am really trying. So here is a few of my quilts.
I hope you all like them.

This is my very 1st quilt and it was paper pieced and hand quilted. Made in 1991 from scraps before I knew much about fabrics and quilting. It fits my queen sized bed. Thanks for looking

They are just lovely. So sorry to hear about your husband. Take care of yourself and ease back into quilting as slowly as you need to.

The quilts are lovely. I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is still hard even when they are suffering so badly.

Your quilts are all very nice. I am so sorry about the passing of your husband. I lost my mother in March of this year, and it's not easy. I have been looking all day on the internet for pics on the trip around the world quilt design, and here you have one. I also wanted to do one with floral fabrics added in, and here you have that too. Thank you for sharing these with us. I feel more inspired now.
