And Jackie, yes is a "crocheted-quilt" (my very new word in english
) It was my first attempt in a pieced one a lot of years ago in College. The block is made with a sandwich of red fabric, poly batting and green fabric. Hand sewed and around each block two rows of single crochet. After that set the pattern-design and joint the blocks and last a pretty crocheted border with shells. I hope the explanation be comprensible. (in the pic is the 3r)
