Default My recent finish

Hi,

I usually just look and don't post, but I wanted to share my recent finish. I am proud of it. I took at BOM class with a Wing and a Prayer pattern. I liked it so much that I just had to order this pattern when I saw it. I worked on the quilt top from April to November. Then I had it quilted by a wonderful quilter in West Salem.

I started with fabric I purchased from a yard sale and added to it to get the right amount of fabric and the right colors.

We are absolutely snowed in, which is very unusual for Salem, Oregon. With being snowed in, I finally spent the time to get this post ready.

I enjoy this site and all the wonderful work all of you do.

Great quilt! It has a south western feel to me with the earth tones and turquoise.

Wow! so very pretty. Guess it pays to get snowed in every now and again. I really like that pinwheel in a pinwheel block.

That is a gorgeous quilt. It looks very complicated to me and I think you have done a wonderful job of it. The quilting is really lovely too. I agree that it does have a southwest flavour to it. I love it.

That is one very beautiful quilt.
I am snowed in in Beaverton, OR so I have been sewing while watching the snow come down; still is.
