    50" of borders would be a lot!

    You could border what you have then make a border of more blocks that would go with what you have, then more borders after that.

    Something as simple as a 4 patch block with a solid or different pattern red and a white would work. I don't know the size of your blocks so I can't suggest what size would work.

    This is a lovely quilt. You can add some borders with matching or contrasting fabric to enlarge it. Thank you for sharing.
