Here is the start of the quilt I am making for my DH. Got it started at the Texas retreat. I changed the pattern to one that a friend showed me and didn't have enough fabric to finish it. I ordered what I needed online and it was here waiting for me when I got home. This is the first project I'm going to do now.

When it is finished, it is going back to Texas to be hand quilted with all kinds of golf stuff on it by debbieumphress.

This is the inside. It will have ribbon borders next.

Disappointed in the picture. The colors are much deeper in person.

The next border is 156 2 inch squares to make the ribbon, plus a bunch of HST. I'm trying to figure out a quicker way to do it.

Nancy that is a very nice looking "man quilt", I am sure your hubby will love it. I wish that I hand quilted, my sister does but I don't have the patience for it. To her it is relaxing and to me I just get stressed because it isn't moving along fast enough.
