Our vendor at retreat demonstrated this project with the pattern and ruler. You sew 5" squares together 5 across and 9 down with 3" borders all the way around.....then recut with the special ruler from the bottom up so the colors come together. Was really fun to do and I had her permission to make a 6 1/2" ruler out of plexiglass for a bigger quilt...Haven't started that yet...

Oooh. I love scrappy quilts. That is awesome. Looks like you had a great time at retreat. Mine isn't until the end of January. I can't wait. So exciting.

Oh, I like this. It looks like a lot of fun, and probably a quick project... Where can I find the templates and instructions?

She sold them at retreat so I would imagine she would ship you a set, pattern and 3 1/2" template, there would be very little postage imvolved....

Linda, whereabouts in Michigan are you from? I would assume perhaps you belong to a guild, if so, which one?

I have this pattern also, except we made a table topper. Lots of fun. I want to make a few more, but need to finish my Xmas things.

Our quilt guild in Germany did this one year. Everyone brought in so many squares, one for each person and swapped them and then used this pattern to make a table runner. Fun.
