This is looks very close to the rooster and chickens pattern that I have seen at the Houston International Quilt Festival. In fact I finally decided that this year, I will spring for the $50.00 for the pattern which consists of various size and color chickens and roosters in a vegetable garden, if I can find the group who sells these. They also have the fabrics which make the feathers so spectacular. Each year they have a new pattern, one year it was cats, one year dogs, but the chickens have been my favorite. Their work and patterns are over the top. Your work is great. No one would believe you have just started quilting.

Whoa!!!! That quilt is Fantastic! I'm a real chicken fan and I'm in awe over your quilt....There is No way I'd make them to try to sell though....you'd never get anywhere near what you put into it in time, effort Or cost! Great job!

Why do people always say "you could make that and sell it"? I know they mean well, but really - could you ever ask enough for the time that goes into it?
