I'll bet you LOVE how it turned out, because it is just gorgeous.

Maybe a dumb question, but I know nothing about long arms --How long does it take to quilt something so intricately like that? It is beautiful.

Thanks! This was all freehand except for the curved crosshatch where I used a ruler. I started it last Saturday before we went to a ballgame in St. Louis and got the 1st border on one end done. I ripped out the stitches several times before I finally decided on the type of feather I wanted in the setting pieces. I've worked on it every day since then and finished the binding last night. I did take a break and go boating on the lake one afternoon. :-) But I was motiivated to get it done while I was home as I've got two customer quilts to do (my 3rd and 4th customer quilts!! )
