I finally finished my row...yea!! My theme is Ladies/Girls from past or present...these are Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter...and the center block, I embroidered flowers to represent Spring, Butterflies for summer etc...at first I made a pieced block for center, but it just didn't work...so I was happy with the short poem by Charles Dickens...

Thankyou...iron-on Lynn...I used my machine button hole stitch on the larger areas but did most of it by hand...:)

They are all lovely but I keep looking back at the Winter block. That one has to be my favorite.

Thankyou...notice she's walking opposite the other "girls." I wished I'd caught that, oh well, I wasn't about to do it over..:)..I like Winter too...she was fun...adding the fringe to her scarf etc...:)

WOW, These blocks are awesome. Are you making each girl from scratch, or is this a pattern? Either way your doing a wonderful job. I cannot wait to see the finished product :-)

Thankyou..there is a pattern in a book entitled Bonnet Girls...but you cut out every piece etc and then fuse it so you can iron it on your background...it's very time consuming..but worth it..

DO NOT freak out! I am easy...Well, if your theme is Spring and you want Spring in your row, I can do that...isn't this fun??? I love this...you'll come up with something and I'll love it...
