What started out as a bold venture, 900 squares and swapping with 21 people, running out of material for my sashings, finding out that the material was discontinued, unpicking my sashings and resewing them with new material. IS finally finished. Here are a couple of pics sofar. I still have to get it machine quilted and it's finished size is 99" x 99".

Here is a closeup of the sashings and borders.

I am planning on machine quilting it (proffesionally) because it is so big my little machine would surely die if I tried to do it at home. Maybe stippled or sometimes the quilting lady that I have used has a nice pattern already on her machine, hopefully a paisley pattern to set off the border.

I have a heap of blocks left over so I'm going to make some matching pillow slips also, but I will quilt them at home.

I'm glad you all liked it
