    Beautiful....did you do the embroidery on the butterflies AFTER it was quilted or could the quilter do the longarm quilting OVER the embroidery?

    Thank-you for your nice comments. Several have asked if I would share the block and I would be happy to share the pattern. This is a pattern I got from one of my quilting books called "101 Full Size Quilt Blocks and Borders" by Better Homes & Gardens. I've scanned the block for all who would like to make a Butterfly Quilt and have it listed under Tutorials.
