My Scrappy Irish Chain
#14
WOW, YOU DID SUCH A GOOD JOB. I REALLY LOVE THE COLORS. LOTS BETTER THAN A REGULAR IRISH CHAIN I THINK. NOW I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THOSE LITTLE SQUARES MY GRANNY CUT AND LEFT FOR ME. IT IS REALLY AWESOME. :D :D

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your color choices. I like the white background with your bright colors. Very stunning. Good Job, thanks for sharing.
I've helped with one Irish Chain and didn't enjoy the pattern we used very much...tiny, tiny squares and only about 6,500 of them! That was as a new quilter and for some reason, new quilters always seem to feel the tiniest block pieces are the best "starter" quilt patterns to use. I find I like something with pieces a bit bigger. Yours looks like one I'd enjoy. Interestingly, this quilt was given as a fundraiser item and it was raffled off. It brought in over $3,000. All of us who worked on it in our quilt group had called it the Quilt From H_ _ _ _ until we found out it brought in that much money so then we changed the name to Quilt from Heaven!
