My second quilt finished
Made this one for my youngest grandson Ryan. I followed tips from board members, such as taping the backing to table top to sandwich, and using painters tape to mark lines for quilting. I used a bamboo batting, it's soft but thin, warm but not too warm for our climate. Also worked out how to finish off thread ends using a self threading needle. So many little things that make life simpler. Bright colours, but I think that is nice for a little boy. I know if I keep going I will get better and will learn more each time. The quilting is the scariest part, I just used walking foot and did straight line quilting, with some gently curving lines.

What a great quilt, I really like it!! Never would I guess it's just your second one! The quilting is perfect, I really like how you tucked that curving line between the straight stitching!
