Okay, this one needs a little explanation as to why it looks so messy - when making my first quilt, I was having a hard time since the only place I have to spread out is on my floor - well I couldn't keep my two dogs off the quilt!! I'd get them off, turn to get my supplies and there they were, both back on the quilt! Soooo. . . . decided to make one for them. This one sits in my foyer and they lay on it all the time!

They certainly let you know they liked the quilt and picked it for their own, no matter what you had intended. Very amusing.

What a cute quilt! I love the colors and your thoughtfulness to make a quilt for your babies. It'll get a lot of use and maybe they'll stay on this one while you work on your future projects.

Very nice, I did the same thing for my cats, but they still want to be on the one that I am working on.

I have the same problem with my Greyhound. Anytime I put my work down on the floor, by the time I get back with what I need, she circled around several times before finally laying down in the middle of them. My poor beautifully starched/iron squares are a wrinkled mess. But she looks so cute, who can yell.

I refuse to make her another bed - she already has 3 - but prefers my bed or the sofa/couches.

    Just a little spoiled

The animals are just too cute! Yes, we have dog beds all over the house - 2 dogs, 6 dog beds and a quilt (I have all tile floor - they will lay on anything but the tile!) They love it! But no, it hasn't stopped them from coming and laying on the one I'm working on now. . . hmmm, maybe because it is a cat quilt for my cousin's bridal shower (she has 2 cats). Pics of that to follow when I'm done - its looking great so far - just need to finish the binding. Then its on to my first rag quilt - yes, I am addicted!!

    Great colors for pups!
(Don't let my girls see it or they will insist I make each of them one. Actually, they are on the list but I haven't gotten around to them yet.......)

(the girls are black Labs, Molly and Abby!)

I don't usually like browns, but I like the way you put them together. Looks good. I'm sure the doggies love it!

DebraK ~ your picture is just adorable!! So's your dog!

Mason ~ you did a great job! Bet they love that to the tiled floor~know that they will want to try out all your quilts! My dogs love trying all mine out and they are more mannerly than anything and don't touch things in the house so...they've passed the test... they each get one! Thanks for sharing - it's so cute~! :D :D

What a nice, comfortable looking quilt.
And, how generous of you to let it lie on the floor.

I was going to make a quilt for my dog. Then maybe she would keep off mine.
